Useful Links

We have put together some resources for those who have senior pet companions, and those thinking about adopting a senior animal.  We also added some cool websites for fun and unique animal gifts.

Check back often because we are always adding websites and new information. Thanks for visiting.

http://Blindtails.com

This is a great resource for those living with blind dogs.  It was developed and is maintained by Veterinary Ophthalmologists.

http://animalnecessity.com/

Looking for a holistic approach to your animals wellness?  Then check out Animal Necessity. Animal Necessity is at the forefront of the development and promotion of holistic, protocol-based approaches to animal wellness, integrating Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) with traditional medicine.  That was kind of wordy so take it from us….. this is good stuff! We use many of these supplements for our seniors.

https://www.avma.org/public/PetCare/Pages/Senior-Pets.aspx

This is a good resource with information about senior pets.  This link will take you to an FAQ page all about senior pets.  There are also other links to good resources.

https://www.cesarsway.com/get-involved/choosing-a-compatible-dog/7-reasons-to-adopt-a-senior-dog

We know first hand there are many more than 7 reasons for adopting a senior dog, but we really like this list.

https://www.mypetsies.com/pet-stuffed-animal/

We love this idea! This company turns your pets into custom stuffed animals.  All you have to do is send them an adorable picture of your pet and they do the rest.  Yes, they can be pricey so here are a few other websites that sell cool animal stuff

https://barkshop.com/

https://iheartdogs.com/shop/ We are a little biased towards this site because they donate to animal shelters!
