Shady Sadie - 13 years old

Sadie AKA: Shady Sadie (because for the longest time she thought I was shady!) came to us from a household where her human was unable to take care of her for several years.  Her human was elderly and in failing health.  Sadie is a sweet, shy girl who is pure joy.  She lets the other dogs boss her around, but has come a long way from where she was.  It took us over an hour to coax her out of the car when we got her home.  We finally got her to trust us after using a lot of treats and patience. 

She was in desperate need of vetting and grooming.  She was full of mats, fleas, and parasites. After we took care of her medical and grooming needs she felt so much better. Sadie will still let the other seniors boss her around, but she has come a long way and feels more comfortable and confident each day.  We are so happy to have Shady Sadie as part of our family.
